Film Summary
One Of Your Boys is an elevated psychological horror that explores the parasitic nature of creativity and the deadly cost of being seen. When struggling writer Jacob finds unexpected sanctuary within a tight-knit community of go-go dancers, his new life is threatened by an intoxicating romance with Anthony, a brilliant but predatory photographer. As Anthony systematically hunts the dancers to construct grotesque, high-art portraits, Jacob must decide whether to save his new found-family, or weaponize their executions as the raw material for his breakout novel.

A 3-page script that ended up becoming so much more, I Would Be The Bullet serves as the proof of concept for One of Your Boys.Nominated for Best Director and Best Actor at the 2025 Chicago Horror Film Festival and receiving honors in Cinematography and Sound from other festivals, Bullet sets the stage for Anthony and Jacob's relationship as it quickly devolves into a dark act of devotion.I Would Be The Bullet made its online premiere in October 2025 on Film Shortage to an audience of 90,000+ subscribers and garnered over 4.5k views in its first few days of release. The short was later featured on the home page of Shorted Films.
